How Films Are Made . . .

Hey guys, leo nimeona niongelee kidogo kuhusiana na jinsi gani wenzetu wanavotengeneza na kukamilisha Movie. Tofauti na huku, wenzetu mpaka movie kukamilika inaweza kuchukua hadi mwaka na nyingine mfano Avatar tunaambiwa idea ilikuwepo toka 1995.

Picha huanza pale ambapo Producer (au wakati mwingine Creator) anakuwa na idea ya movie fulani. Idea inaweza kuwa toka kwenye Games, series, movie ya zamani au hata ikawa idea yake mwenyewe ameitunga. Kisha atamtafuta mtu wa kuandika idea yake, Screenwriter. Yeye ataandaa script nzima ya movie na kuboresha jinsi gani maongezi yatakavyokuwa (hatua ambayo inaweza kuchukua hata mwaka). Baada ya hapo hawa majamaa watatengeneza kitu kimoja kinaitwa Film Pitch au Treatment ambapo wataipeleka kwa wadhamini (wanaweza kuwa Studio Productions, investors) ambako kama wakiridhika basi hatua hizi hufuata ;

i) PRE-PRODUCTION
Hii ndo stage ya kwanza kabisa ambako sasa maandalizi ya movie yanaandaliwa. Idea ya movie imetengenezwa, movie rights zimeshachukuliwa, production budget pia inatengenezwa, film crew pamoja na cast wanaajiriwa, location inatafutwa au kama ni set pia inatengenezwa.

•  The director yeye ni primarily responsible for the storytelling, creative decisions and acting of the film.
•  The assistant director (AD) Anamsaidia Director kwa kuandaa shooting schedule and logistics of the production, among other tasks.
•  The casting director Huyu ndo ambaye huandaa audition za kutafuta watu wanaofaa kuigiza katika movie hiyo.
•  The location manager Yeye hutafuta na kumanage film locations. Ikumbukwe kuwa, most pictures are shot in the controllable environment of a studio sound stage but occasionally, outdoor sequences call for filming on location.
•  The production manager manages the production budget and production schedule. They also report, on behalf of the production office, to the studio executives or financiers of the film.
•  The director of photography (DoP) is the cinematographer who supervises the photography of the entire film
•  The director of audiography (DoA) is the audiographer who supervises the audiography of the entire film. 
•  The production sound mixer is the head of the sound department during the production stage of filmmaking. They record and mix the audio on set - dialogue, presence and sound effects in mono and ambience in stereo.
•  The sound designer creates the aural conception of the film, working with the supervising sound editor. 
•  The composer creates new music for the film. (usually not until post-production)
•  The production designer creates the visual conception of the film, working with the art director.
•  The art director manages the art department, which makes production sets
•  The costume designer creates the clothing for the characters in the film working closely with the actors, as well as other departments.
•  The make up and hair designer works closely with the costume designer in addition to create a certain look for a character.
•  The storyboard artist creates visual images to help the director and production designer communicate their ideas to the production team.
•  The choreographer creates and coordinates the movement and dance - typically for musicals. Some films also credit a fight choreographer

ii)PRODUCTION
Hatua hii inahusu sasa utengenezaji kabisa wa movie. Waigizaji ambao wakuwa tayari wameshafanya mazoezi ( rehearsal) wanapelekwa sasa kwenye actual location au mara nyingi stage with the help of 'Green Curtain Effect' kuigiza mpaka pale Director atakaporidhika na footage ambazo wameshoot siku hiyo.

iii) POST-PRODUCTION
Hii ni stage ya mwisho ambako sasa Film Editor anahusika kwa kiasi kikubwa. Yeye ataenda kuedit movie nzima lakini pia pale ambako patahitajika kuingiza Sound Effects mtu anayehusika pia atashiriki. Baada ya movie kukamilika na kila kitu kuwaridhisha executive producers, basi movie hii hupelekwa kwa Film Distributors ambao wao sasa watahusika na Launch parties, advertisements (including websites), press conference na premier ya hiyo movie.
